I want to spend some time today talking to myself. I can be the biggest obstacle in my own life at times. That is something I need to work on for myself. For the past few days, I’ve had doubts about my future. There was some dishearting about what my mother had said to me today. The people and things in which I had placed my trust, had come to an end. Sometimes we can hold on to things and people we think we need.
When I consider what this means for my life, I realize God did this for a reason. I had put my faith in a resource rather than the source. It was as if I had dozed off for a moment, forgetting who I was as a child of God, ignoring all the signs and wonders that had inspired and strengthened my faith. Deuteronomy 4:9 reads “Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren,”. I needed to refocus what I believed in.
The book I’m working on is the biggest blessing in my life right now. Which I believe is the result of divine inspiration and Holy Spirit guidance. As I paid attention to my blesssings and meditated on God’s Word, I awoke and began to focus my thoughts on everything God said and did in my life. Everything works together in some way, for some reason at some time.
I reflected on God’s word and promises and realized He was with me. My life is serving its purpose. There is a reason why this happened in my life. It serves a purpose, and it is not happening to me; instead, it is happening for me. It’s God’s way of steering my path.
Jesus tells his disciples in John 16:12, ” “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
Because we cannot receive everything we need to learn all at once, it is given to us line by line, precept by precept. The Spirit guides us into understanding why things are happening in our life. The lesson are meant to provide the knowledge we require to complete our mission, step by step, season by season, Lesson by lesson and experience by experience. Thus, everything is happening for a reason.
At this point, it makes sense to me. These things are happening in my life for a reason. It makes sense for me to seek answers to life’s questions because God leads me there. I must lose some things and gain some things but I must also learn to trust God over everything else. The questions lead to answers. He wants me to learn certain things that are relevant to my purpose.
Because my reality is promising, I feel better about myself and my future. I am God’s child, I can trust His Word and have faith in His love. I will fulfill my purpose no matter what ends or starts in my life. It all is meant to be and plays a part. My mother had done what was needed to make me refocus my attention on God, not man or money. Nothing else has any power in my life because God creates and gives us everything. He gives and takes away.
I’ll be honest, it’s a little difficult for me to bear the truth of life all at once. Lessons can be hard to learn at times but God has spiritually prepared me to handle it. It’s been 30 years of signs and wonders to comprehend, lessons to learn, and questions to answer that have led up to this point in my life. Everything makes sense, and this is where the road took me.
The truth is that God chose me for this calling and this purpose long before I was born. My purpose has been set, and every day of my life will be spent in accordance with God’s will. God will provide for me. My life has unfolded exactly as God planned. My life is in God’s hand.
Today, by faith, I declare that my dreams and purpose be fulfilled. I dedicate this book to my all-powerful and loving Heavenly Father.
Today is a blessed day. I am thankful for the good and presummablly bad things that happen in my life. This is only the beginning of something wonderful in my life. I give God the honor, praise, and glory in the name, Jesus Christ. May Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen. May Your works and glory be done through and in me.
